“ Yogash chitta vritti nirodha ”– Yoga is the restraining of the fluctuation of the conciousness
– Maharishi Patanjali
What is Yoga??
Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word YOG which means “to unite”. Far from being just a physical fitness regime that aims to develop and sustain a healthy body, when practiced with discipline, diligence and precision it has the power to transform our lives physically mentally spiritually. The Vedas teach that we are part of an all powerful, all knowing consciousness, with divinity in all its potential within each and every one of us. Yoga is a system of ancient Indian philosophy that teaches us how to unite our true selves.
way of Hatha Yoga
Many different kinds of yoga exist and it can be difficult to figure out which particular style is right for you. Most styles of yoga are based on an intricate system of yoga poses called ASANAS and breath modulation called PRANAYAMA. Taken together these practices strengthen and focus the body and breath so as to make them into a fit vehicle to enter the mind. However, the experience of one style can be radically different from another. Hath yoga stems from a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body, and uses yogic postures, or yogasanas, to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy. By practicing this profound science, one can change and enhance the way to think, feel, and experience life.

Prathamesh is a no-nonsense, holistically competent, yoga practitioner and trainer. He is focused on your health and fitness and addresses it from a nutrition, strength development, flexibility, cardio, and meditation point of view. He is not afraid of putting out whatever effort is necessary whether it be patiently instructing you or using his own strength to achieve the stretch necessary. He is young and energetic and devoted to his craft. I could not recommend him highly enough.
Prathamesh has been known to my family for many years. He began training my father Vivek Nair, Chairman of The Leela hotel group in 2009 and has also subsequently trained my mother, sister, and brother over the years. I have worked out with Prathamesh since January 2014 doing various forms of exercise but what I have enjoyed the most is our yoga practice which I believe has not only improved over the years but also helped prevent and counter injuries from other sports. I would be happy to recommend Prathamesh as I believe he is constantly updating his skills and knowledge about Yoga and approaches teaching with sincerity and dedication.
